Melbourne comedy festival turns 40: tell us your most chaotic stories – from the audience or the stage
We want to hear about the funniest, strangest or most disastrous moments in 40 years of MICF history – whether you are a punter, comedian or crew

The Melbourne international comedy festival takes over the city from 25 March: the world’s largest dedicated comedy festival, celebrating its milestone 40th year. That’s a long history for such an enormous event, and we want to hear the best stories from its storied past. Not just the funniest gags as experienced by the crowd (although we’re keen for those as well), but the mishaps, the bombs and the backstage bedlam too.
There are a bunch of favourites on this year’s program – names like David O’Doherty, Michelle Brasier, Nazeem Hussain, Chloe Petts, Lizzy Hoo, Scout Boxall, Wil Anderson and Mark Watson. And if any of those folk are reading this: we want to hear from you too. Give us your best below.
